USC alumnus Robert Popovian, PharmD, will deliver the keynote speech at USC Mann’s White Coat Ceremony on Aug. 18.

Popovian is a longtime member of the pharmacy school’s Board of Councilors, as well as a nationally recognized authority on pharmaceutical policy.

White Coat events welcome incoming health care students about to start practical learning by presenting them with their own lab coats. The faculty and students then pledge their commitment to the profession and to the health of the patients they will serve.
