Faculty, staff and patients are familiar with the sight of USC Health magazines dotting the waiting rooms and reception areas of Keck Medicine of USC. Published twice per year, the magazine features stories of people who’ve overcome difficult health challenges with the help of Keck Medicine care providers.
Over the past year, the publication has expanded to include features like The Big Question, a Q&A forum that lets people ask two Keck Medicine physicians about common health dilemmas, The Keck Effect, which profiles non-physician staffers who play an important role in the patient experience, and Labwork — a series sharing the latest clinical research stories from Keck Medicine and the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
To ensure these features reach the widest audience possible, the marketing and communications team at Keck Medicine has launched an online version of USC Health. Offering a vibrant, user-friendly interface, the digital version of the magazine gives users access to most of the articles and features available in the print version. Readers can also click links for more information or to access featured doctors’ provider pages. There’s even an option to subscribe for those who don’t want to miss a beat.
While the print version is still available, the new digital version will allow faculty, staff, alumni, patients and their families to stay in the know throughout the year, no matter where they are.
Previous issues are coming to the site soon. In the meantime, readers can view the current issue of USC Health in print or online. Check out our cover story about Angela K.
