Lynnette Delgadillo is a Southern California phlebotomist, wife, and mother of two girls. Last fall, she delayed getting her flu shot and found herself hospitalized at Keck Hospital of USC for nearly six months. She experienced very serious complications that led to her being on life support and on the lung and kidney transplant list.

Delgadillo tells her story in the video below, and shares a message about the importance of getting a flu shot in a timely manner every year.
