Francesca Mariani, PhD, has been selected for the 2023 Associates Award for Excellence in Teaching.

The director of the Mariani Lab at USC Stem Cell also serves as the faculty director of USC’s master’s program in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. She also teaches master’s, PhD, and MD students at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, plus mentors students and trainees ranging from high school to postdoctoral levels.

In 2021, Mariani was also the recipient of the teaching award for the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine.
