Tammy Capretta, RN, MPH, chief transformation and risk officer for Keck Medicine of USC, has been named the 2023 Los Angeles Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Each year, nominees begin their campaigns on National Wear Red Day. After the campaigns close, these change-makers are celebrated for the overall impact they have had on the community. The nominee who makes the greatest impact and raises the most funds locally is named the winner.

“I am honored to be named the Los Angeles Woman of Impact, and would like to thank all of our members of the Keck Medicine community who have contributed to this important cause,” Capretta said.
