The American Pharmacists Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have named the California Right Meds Collaborative — led by the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences — as one of six Community of Practice teams for a national project.
Titled, “Advancing Health Equity with Pharmacy-Based Strategies, Pharmacists Patient Care Services and Support Services” the project aims to accelerate the implementation of pharmacy-led initiatives to address racial and ethnic disparities in cardiovascular disease risk factors, prevalence and outcomes.
