Last year, Mitzi D’Aquila, MACM, PA-C, stepped into the role of interim director for the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. On Dec. 6, the Keck School announced that D’Aquila will continue in this position in a permanent capacity.
D’Aquila herself graduated from the program in 2001. After gaining 10 years of experience in pediatric hospital medicine at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, she returned to the Keck School and Keck Medicine of USC. Over the next 10 years, D’Aquila served as a clinical coordinator, director of clinical education and associate program director before accepting the role of interim program director.
