Rod Hanners, chief operating officer of Keck Medicine of USC and CEO of Keck Medical Center of USC, recently joined several top health system executives to discuss the future of health care facilities at Bisnow’s National Healthcare Expansion and Innovation Series.

The event brought together leaders from the fields of health care and health care real estate to discuss new innovation within health systems, hospital expansion, the development of medical office building facilities and the future of outpatient care facilities.

Hanners participated in the closing keynote panel and spoke about access and health care innovation. Other members of the panel included Johnese Spisso, CEO of UCLA Hospital System, Thomas Priselac, president and CEO of Cedars-Sinai Health System, Margaret Peterson, PhD, president of Dignity Health-California Medical Center, and Matthew Jenusaitis, chief of staff of the University of California, San Diego Health System. Laurie McCoy, health care principal at NBBJ, was the moderator.
