The USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences’ 2023 commencement ceremony will feature keynote speaker Janet S. Wright, MD, director of the CDC Chronic Disease Center’s Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention.

Wright has over 12 years of experience in national public health leadership, three years as senior vice president for Science and Quality at the American College of Cardiology, and many years as a practicing cardiologist. In 2020, she received the Surgeon General’s Award for Exemplary Service.

The USC Mann commencement ceremony will be held Saturday, May 13 at 10 a.m. at the McCarthy Quad on the University Park Campus.
