Rohit Varma, MD, MPH, dean of the Keck School of Medicine of USC, shared the Keck School’s 10-year vision with the USC Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) team in San Diego on June 9.
USC ATRI Director Paul Aisen, MD, professor of neurology at the Keck School, explained how his institute is a leading hub of translational and clinical research in neuroscience. Since 1991, ATRI faculty and staff have worked on more than 50 Alzheimer’s clinical trials and are currently involved in 14 studies, six of which are currently enrolling worldwide.
