Students, staff and faculty of the USC School of Pharmacy joined several community organizations at an afternoon health fair at South Los Angeles’ Saint Mark United Methodist Church on Sept. 10. The event featured free flu and COVID-19 vaccines, health screenings and giveaways, and a community discussion about the dangers of fentanyl.
Los Angeles City Council member Marqueece Harris-Dawson thanked the organizers and volunteers for working together to provide accessible care and resources for the community of South Los Angeles, especially in harm reduction.
