In honor of Mother’s Day, the ambulatory infusion teams distributed roses to patients who visited USC Norris Cancer Day Hospital, the Norris Healthcare Center Treatment Center and Women’s Specialty Care Clinic, as well as the Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia, Buena Park, Koreatown, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Pasadena treatment centers during the week of Mother’s Day.
This has become an annual tradition to celebrate patients who are mothers coming to Keck Medicine of USC for chemotherapy and infusion treatments.
“This is an important, long-standing tradition for our organization,” said Smitha Ravipudi, MPH, CEO for USC Care Medical Group and Ambulatory Services. “For us, honoring our courageous mothers is a privilege. Seeing their strength and determination even during the most challenging times inspires us to strive for greater things in both our personal and professional lives.”
