The library will host a reception to mark the second anniversary of the ongoing program at 2 p.m. March 9, featuring its eighth cancer survivor/artist.

Lisa Chakrabarti will talk about her life as an artist, her experience as a patient at USC Norris and how her cancer diagnosis has informed her creative process.

“Another reason to celebrate is that all seven of our previous artists are still survivors,” said Mary Aalto, volunteer library coordinator for the Jennifer Diamond Cancer Resource Library.

Refreshments will be served, no RSVP is necessary. The library is located in the Harlyne J. Norris Research Tower, G501.
