On the morning of June 4, the USC Trojan Marching Band began to flood the Pappas Quad with spirited music, kicking off the 32nd Festival of Life — the first celebrated in person since June 2019.

Hosted every year by USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, this event celebrates the strength, resilience and tenacity of cancer survivors. This year, among inspirational speeches from oncologists and survivors alike, a “tree of life” allowed patients, survivors and loved ones to leave messages of hope and and encouragement, and a gratitude board was available for all to sign.
