On Feb. 28, Jeremy Church, MBA, joined Keck Medicine of USC as the chief financial officer of USC Care Medical Group.

Eric Strucko, PhD, CFO of Keck Medicine of USC announced the name of USC Care’s new CFO, stating: “With more than 18 years of experience in health care finance, strategy and operations, Jeremy brings tremendous talent and skill to the position.”

In his new role, Church will develop and direct USC Care’s overall financial functions, including accounting, reporting and budgeting, cashflow management, revenue cycles and predictive analytics. He will also lead provider alignment and funds flow strategies.

Church earned his master’s degree from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. He came to Keck Medicine from Scripps Medical Foundation, where he served as CFO. In this position, he managed all financial planning and forecasting activities, financial modeling and mergers and acquisitions.

In his off-hours, Church enjoys playing and listening to music, cooking and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. He is also a fan of outdoor activities such as mountain biking, running and trail walks with the family dog.

“I am excited to partner with an exceptional leadership team to expand access to the excellent clinical care of Keck Medicine across Los Angeles and beyond,” Church said. “I will work to enhance the finance function of USC Care to most effectively support Keck Medicine’s clinical, research and teaching missions.”
