On Sept. 11, the Keck School of Medicine of USC announced that 11 members of its faculty have received endowed faculty positions — the highest academic recognition that USC, or any university, can bestow on a professor. The status is an honor for the faculty member and an enduring tribute to the generous donor who made it possible.
