On June 29, the Keck Medicine of USC stroke team participated in the 22nd Annual Proyecto Pastoral Women’s Conference in Boyle Heights. More than 400 women attended workshops and lectures that focused on health, wellness and women empowerment.
The team offered blood pressure screenings and stroke education to more than 260 conference attendees, teaching the community about stroke warning signs, risk factors and stroke prevention.
