To further increase computational power in neuroimaging-based research, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded the Keck School of Medicine of USC’s Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute (Stevens INI) with $2 million to expand the lab with invaluable equipment.
Once of the most vital parts of the institute is the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging (LONI), a neuroscience research lab that has built a network of collaborators and grown to become a global leader in amassing data with the ultimate goal of mapping the brain, understanding disease, developing shareable tools and training new leaders in the field. The NIH grant will allow Stevens INI to expand LONI’s capabilities with a higher capacity computer network system.
