When Tianli “Sheldon” Ding, MS, was an undergraduate in college, he was diagnosed with leukemia due to cancerous stem cells in his blood. His recovery journey only made him more determined to study stem cells and to use the science behind them to heal. Now, he’s sharing the story of his journey through recovery and his studies at USC Stem Cell and details his ambitions in the field of stem cell research.
