In honor of Mother’s Day, the ambulatory infusion teams distributed roses to patients who visited USC Norris Cancer Day Hospital, the Norris Healthcare Center Treatment Center and Women’s Specialty Care Clinic, and Keck Medicine of USC treatment centers in Arcadia, Buena Park, Koreatown, Santa Clarita, Newport Beach and Pasadena during the week of Mother’s Day.
This has become an annual tradition to celebrate patients who are mothers coming to Keck Medicine of USC for chemotherapy and infusion treatments.
“This long-standing tradition is an important way to honor the many mothers who receive treatment from us,” said Smitha Ravipudi, MPH, CEO for USC Care Medical Group and Ambulatory Services. “These courageous individuals are a true inspiration to our health system, and their strength, resilience and generosity motivate us to aim higher in our everyday lives.”
