The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has named Jay Lieberman, MD, chief of the orthopaedic surgery service at Keck Medical Center of USC, one of four 2024 fellows from the University of Southern California.

Lieberman, who is also chair and professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, was recognized for his groundbreaking research in gene therapy and achievements in improving joint replacement surgery.
