Next year, Rocco Cavaleri, PhD, head of the Brain Stimulation and Rehabilitation Lab at West Sydney University, will spend four to six months at the Applied Movement and Pain Laboratory — part of the USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy — to team up with Jason Kutch, PhD, associate professor and director of the lab.
Their goal? To make groundbreaking advancements in the understanding of chronic musculoskeletal pain and to develop a novel treatment for people suffering acute pain flareups caused by chronic illness.
