The American College of Surgeons has named Damon H. Clark, MD, an emergency, trauma and critical care surgeon with Keck Medicine of USC, as the winner of its annual Surgical Volunteerism Award. The award is intended to honor surgeons who go above and beyond their surgical practices with exceptional contributions to the community. The award is given in four categories — domestic, international, resident and military — with just a single winner in each.
