Researchers from USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of Keck Medicine of USC, are preparing a first-of-its-kind clinical trial to determine whether non-small cell lung cancer can be treated at home with subcutaneous immunotherapy.

Currently, patients who need immunotherapy must receive the treatment in a clinic or hospital. If at-home treatment becomes available, it would save patients time, money, energy and stress, increasing the odds of a positive outcome.
