The USC Eye Institute held an open house at its Beverly Hills facility on Sept. 9 for USC Associates and other invited guests.
Among the speakers was Dean Carmen A. Puliafito, MD, MBA, of the Keck School of Medicine, as well as USC Eye Institute Director Rohit Varma, MD, MPH, and Mark S. Humayun, MD, PhD.
The evening began with a reception and hors d’ oeuvres, followed by the presentations. Attendees then had an opportunity to tour the facility and ask questions of doctors and other members of the Eye Institute staff.
Affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of USC, the USC Eye Institute is widely recognized as a trailblazer in patient care, vision research and physician education. In recent years, the institute has been ranked in the Top 10 ophthalmology programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report and Ophthalmology Times.
In addition to the Beverly Hills site and the main location at Keck Medical Center of USC near Downtown Los Angeles, the USC Eye Instute operates satellite centers in Arcadia and Pasadena.
