In honor of Women’s History Month, ophthalmologists Jesse Berry, MD, and Linda Lam, MD, MBA, of the USC Roski Eye Institute share their experiences as women in their field, including obstacles they faced on their way to becoming physicians. Today both specialists are highly accomplished — Berry serves as the USC Berle and Lucy Adams Chair in Cancer Research for the institute, and Lam is both the vice chair for satellite clinics in the Department of Ophthalmology and the medical director for the eye institute’s Arcadia location.
