Collaborative care will be the major theme of the 28th annual Max R. Gaspar, MD Symposium this year. Titled, “A Tale of Two Programs: Multidisciplinary Approaches to the Delivery of Vascular Care” and presented by the division of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy and the USC Office of Continuing Medical Education, the conference will focus on how vascular surgeons benefit from multidisciplinary insights.
Topics will include the nationally famous collaborative work done at the USC Comprehensive Aortic Center, the limb-saving multidisciplinary work of vascular surgery’s Toe and Flow program, complex vascular repairs in the chest, and even social science approaches to looking at care disparities.
