On January 27, the Keck Medicine of USC Stroke Program and the Nurses of USC once again participated in the Skid Row Carnival of Love.

This annual event provides essential items, services and resources to those experiencing homelessness on Skid Row, including clothing donations, medical services, career opportunities, legal advice, feet washing, hair cutting, DMV ID services, dog grooming and more.

The team offered blood pressure screenings and stroke education to more than 200 people, teaching the community about stroke warning signs, risk factors and stroke prevention.
