More than 180 volunteers from the Keck School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine — led by Sean O. Henderson, chair of the department, and department physicians Clare Roepke and Dhara Amin — turned out to offer aid at the LA Marathon on March 9. Medical personnel and volunteers assisted more than 2,000 runners for various ailments along the 26.2-mile route.
