On April 29, Amy Ross, PhD, will receive the Alumni Service Award for founding the USC Lambda LGBTQ+ Alumni Association 30 years ago and remaining an active member since. Her contributions as a current USC trustee and former president of the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors will also be recognized.
Ross received her PhD in experimental pathology from the Keck School of Medicine at USC. Over the course of her career, she has worked for the advancement of cancer diagnostics and served as senior vice president of scientific affairs at Nexell Therapeutics. She retired from her position as an associate biologist at the California Institute of Technology.
