On June 8, the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center participated in the American Cancer Society (ACS) Relay for Life event at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia.

The mission of the Relay for Life is to raise funds to improve cancer survival, decrease the incidence of cancer and improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their caretakers.

Three of the ACS Institutional Research Grant pilot project awardees presented their posters at the USC Norris informational booth during Relay for Life, and were available to answer questions from the public.
