A study from USC Stem Cell’s Rong Lu Lab has discovered 40 genes that play different roles in building and maintaining the body’s various immune cells.
The findings, published in Science Advances, could serve as a starting point for improving immune-system-related treatments and procedures, including the optimization of bone marrow transplantation.
