Over the past several years, Keck Medicine of USC has enjoyed significant growth and expansion of clinical programs through new facilities, integration with key community partners, and increased relevance and recognition in surrounding markets. To promote and encourage the further success of Keck Medicine and USC Care Medical Group, three individuals have recently been promoted to essential leadership positions.
Krist Azizian, PharmD, MHA
Currently serving as the executive administrator for USC Norris Cancer Hospital, Azizian is transitioning to the role of chief regional oncology officer for USC Care Medical Group and Ambulatory Care Services. In this role, Krist will bring a differential focus to all of Keck Medicine’s regional oncology practices, specifically: medical oncology, infusion therapy (inclusive of pharmacy), and radiation therapy.
Cindy Naveira, RN, MSN, ACNP-C
A nurse executive for USC Care Medical Group and Ambulatory Services, Naveira will take on the role of chief nursing officer effective immediately. In this role, Cindy will provide leadership to the clinical, quality, patient safety, education, and clinical integration efforts for the medical group’s operation.
Laurie Johnson
Laurie Johnson has accepted the position of chief ambulatory officer for USC Care Medical Group and Ambulatory Services. In addition to her current responsibilities, Laurie will oversee the recently acquired clinical practices of cardiology, through the Los Angeles Cardiology Associates Group, the USC Orthopaedic Surgery and USC Epstein Family Center for Sports Medicine practice at the Toyota Sports Center, and USC OB-GYN outpatient services.
