A team of graduate students from the Keck School of Medicine Department of Preventive Medicine’s Health Behavior Research PhD Program recently won the Sloboda Bukoski Cup competition at the Society for Prevention Research conference.
This was the eighth annual competition but was the first time that a team from USC has entered. The award highlights and celebrates the work of prevention scientists who are early in their careers. During the competition, several independent teams of early career scientists, each working with the same data set, conduct a collaborative research project. The teams then present their findings to a panel of judges.
