Keck School of Medicine of USC Dean Laura Mosqueda, MD, recently participated in “The Impact Equation,” a panel discussion on driving progress and making a meaningful impact in today’s world. The event, which took place in downtown Los Angeles on Sept. 20, was hosted by the L.K. Whittier Trust.

Mosqueda, professor of family medicine and geriatrics, and May S. and John H. Hooval Dean’s Chair in Medicine, was joined by Carla Christofferson, JD, executive vice president and general counsel for AECOM, and former co-owner of the Los Angeles Sparks WNBA team, to talk about how leaders today can leverage their influence in unconventional ways to create positive change in their organizations, communities and the causes that they champion.

Moira Forbes, publisher of the multi-media platform ForbesWoman, moderated the event.
