Nearly 7,000 people were expected to celebrate the season as faculty, staff and others across the Health Sciences Campus attended the Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 15.

The party was sponsored jointly by Rohit Varma, MD, MPH, dean of the Keck School of Medicine of USC; Tom Jackiewicz, MPH, senior vice president and CEO of Keck Medicine of USC; Vassilios Papadopoulos, DPharm, PhD, dean of the USC School of Pharmacy; Rod Hanners, COO of Keck Medicine and CEO of Keck Medical Center of USC; James Gordon, EdD, PT, associate dean and chair of the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy; and Florence Clark, PhD, associate dean, chair and professor of the Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy.

This was the first year university and hospital leaders gathered to host a campuswide celebration for both day and night shift employees on the Health Sciences Campus. The midday event included buffet lunch and musical entertainment from current students and alumni of the USC Thornton School of Music.
